Stay with the chapter

Begin a chapter, adjust the narration speed and follow the text as you listen. Lock Screen controls keep playback close when you set your phone down.

Recording and device voice

Recorded audio is available for eight of the app’s ten English editions, with chapter coverage varying by edition. ASV and RV use a device voice. If a recording cannot be loaded, the app can continue with a voice for the selected text.

Prepare for offline listening

Play a chapter while connected to cache its recording. Previously cached chapters can play offline while retained; the app does not download the entire audio Bible at once. Device voices depend on the voices available on your device.
